The option of “Family Oblation” for families with young children has been avail- able for some years, but during the last year a brochure for this program has been developed with the help of an “Oblate family,” in which the parents are Oblates and their small children become “junior Oblates.” The brochure gives a description of Benedictine/Catholic practices that families can use to form their children in the Christian faith and Benedictine virtues. Copies of this brochure are available, es- pecially for young couples in the Oblate Program who have young children.
