April 13 Oblate Talk: How Benedictine Spirituality Shapes Advocate

Eric Failing of the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference will give a presentation to Oblates on at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13. The talk will take place in the Assembly Room at Saint Vincent Basilica Parish, which is on the second floor of the parish center and adjacent to the Archabbey Basilica. His topic will be “Benedictine Spirituality: How It Shapes My Advocacy for the Church before Our Elected Leaders.”

To appreciate the presentations one does not need to have attended previous sessions. Attendees may also attend Vespers at 5 p.m. in the Basilica.

Oblates of Saint Benedict are lay Christians (or secular clergy) who wish to live a more intensive Christian commitment through the spirituality of the Rule of Saint Benedict and affiliation with a Benedictine monastic community.
