The Solemnity of Saint Benedict

Oblates are invited to attend events at the Archabbey on Friday, March 21, to celebrate the Solemnity of the Passing of Our Holy Father Benedict with the monastic community and other guests. The tentative schedule includes Mass at 4 p.m., supper at 5:15, Oblate ceremonies at 6:15, and Vespers at 7 p.m. The registration form, available in the Oblate newsletter, should be sent to the Oblate Office by March 15.

The celebrant and homilist for the Mass will be Monsignor Stuart Swetland of the Archdiocese of Kansas.

The cost of the dinner will be that for the standard menu, that is $12.25, but those who attend are welcome to give whatever free-will donations they can at the time of the dinner.
