Oblate Day of Recollection October 26

Father Thomas Acklin, O.S.B., will be the speaker at the Oblate Day of Recollection on Saturday, October 26. There will be three conferences, confessions, Mass and other events as well as lunch and supper. The day begins with check-in at the Basilica Crypt at 8:30 a.m., followed by the first conference at 9 a.m.

Confessions will be held from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. in the Crypt, followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. Oblates will join the monks for Midday Prayer at 11:30 a.m. in the Basilica, then have lunch.

The second conference will begin at 1 p.m. in the Crypt, followed by Oblation ceremonies and then the third conference at 3:30 p.m.

The Oblates will then join the monks for evening prayer in the Saint Gregory Chapel at 5 p.m. before concluding the day with supper at 5:35 p.m. To register please contact Father Donald in the Oblate Office.

The cost is $40, which includes all three talks, lunch and dinner, or $30 for three talks and just lunch.
